The Scotland County Schools Board of Education will meet this evening, March 9, at 6:00 pm in the Board Room at the AB Gibson Education Center. The meeting is open to the public. It will also be live-streamed at https://vimeo.com/event/5785273

Scotland County Schools Child Nutrition Department is requesting 2026 – 27 school year bids for the following lots:
Ice Cream (ala cart sales)
Cleaning Chemicals (kitchen and ware washing)
An IFB can be requested by contacting

During the December 8 Scotland County Schools Board of Education meeting, the Board voted unanimously to reaffirm Mr. Rick Singletary as Board Chair and Dr. Carolyn Banks as Board Vice Chair for the coming year.
We are grateful for their continued leadership, dedication, and commitment to our students, staff, and community. Please join us in congratulating Mr. Singletary and Dr. Banks as they continue to guide the important work of our district!

Scotland County Schools has officially launched our new Online Registration and Beginning-of-Year Forms Portal—and this year, all students, both new and returning, are required to register.
